Tony Gallopin (AG2R-La Mondiale) : “It was like a moto GP. We went full gas in the valleys and I had a puncture with 15-20km to go. I set my own pace at the bottom of the last climb and then I did what I could. I always had the favorites in sight. And I overcame some rivals in the end, Izaguirre, Buchmann, Aru… So I think I can be satisfied. I’m in a good shape. The difference is I’ve lost more weight than usual. I can rely on a team 100% dedicated to me and that also makes a difference. Now, we’ll be suffering until the end.”
