Laurens De Plus (Quick-Step Floors), best young rider: “First of all the goal was to win the stage with Elia (Viviani), that was the most important. And then staying the best young rider is good. Tomorrow is the first test for everybody, and we’ll see how everybody goes in the mountains. I want to stay in this position tomorrow and maybe longer. La Vuelta started very well for me. Yesterday I could smell the win but in the end Valverde and Kwiatkowski were too strong.”
