Pogacar: “It was quite a battle with Lopez”

Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates): “It’s a good day in the end and I’m really happy to hold on with the third place. It was a really hard climb and I’m just happy to have felt ok. It was quite a battle [with Miguel Angel Lopez]. We attacked each other. I think he was really strong. I tried to follow him every time and in the end I managed it. I didn’t want to follow Valverde and Roglic because it was already pretty hard at the moment. Maybe if I had followed them I would have been dropped then.”
