Unipublic S.A. (hereinafter indistinctly  "Unipublic"  or "We") knows that You, as a User, i.e. a visitor browsing the official website of La Vuelta www.lavuelta.es/en (hereinafter the "Website"), attaches a great importance to the way in which Your personal data is processed and acknowledges the value of protecting Your privacy. That is why, as Data Controller, We make every effort to protect them and respect Your privacy.

We only collect personal data that allows you to receive our newsletters and deposit Cookies on the "La Vuelta" Website. Your Prior Consent will be required. You can always withdraw Your Consent at your early convenience.

Other personal data concerning You may be processed by the Social Networks Facebook, X, Instagram, Tik Tok, Twitch TV or Youtube if You already have an active account in their platforms and wish to follow the race in the official pages of La Vuelta.

This assumes that You have read and accepted the terms of the Privacy Policies of each of the social networks concerned. Their respective policies must enlighten You on Your rights, how to exercise them and how to set Your consent. Please be aware that We have no control over the process used by any of these sites to collect information relating to Your browsing on the Site and associated with your personal data in their possession.

"Controller" means the natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing. In this case, UNIPUBLIC may be considered, depending on the case, as Data Controller.

II. What Data do we collect?

II.1 Data collected directly

We collect Data about You directly from You, to allow You to subscribe to Our Newsletters and/or those of Our partners, if You consent. We will allow You to also receive dedicated commercial offers if You wish.

We will only ask You for the Data strictly necessary for the purposes of the Processing concerned.

II.1.2 Data collected when You subscribe to Newsletters

When You wish to be informed of everything that is happening around La Vuelta, You can subscribe to Our Newsletters, or to Our commercial offers or those of Our partners.   To register, We need certain Data about You. Mandatory Data is followed by an asterisk (*).

1.I.1.1.1 Mandatory data

We collect so-called Declarative Data of which You are the sole source. The following Identity Data is mandatory  :

  • Country: Choose from a drop-down list

You will be able to unsubscribe at your early convenience by clicking on the link in the bottom of your newsletter.

III. Data collected by the official Pages of the race in Social Networks

When You have a Facebook, X, Instagram, Tik Tok, Twitch, or YouTube account, You can follow the race on Our official pages. This assumes that You have already read how the social networks process your data and that You have already read and accepted their respective Privacy and Cookie Policies. If You have not already done so, We invite you to read them. You will also be able to know Your rights and how to exercise them.

To be able to access the official pages of La Vuelta, we have set up buttons corresponding to each of the pages of the social networks. We remind you that in order to be able to follow Us, You must already have a personal account on the Networks concerned. You have therefore accepted their privacy and cookie policies when you register on Facebook, X, Instagram.

Our site uses Facebook and Instagram buttons to allow you to visit the  Facebook  and Instagram pages of the event, Meta Inc. is a joint controller that collects data every time you click on the Facebook or Instagram button on our website.

By reading their Privacy Policy, You will find further information on how Meta Inc. processes Your personal data, including the legal basis on which Meta Inc. bases the data processing and how you can exercise Your GDPR rights. You will also find the information required by Article 13(1)(a) and (b) GDPR. Once you are redirected to the event's  Facebook or Instagram page,  Facebook and Instagram (Meta Inc.) become Independent Controllers because they are the only ones  to decide on the data collected, the purposes of the data processing, and you will have to contact Facebook or Instagram to exercise your rights.

Our Site has implemented a link to Our X page to allow you to follow the race, see the photos published there, etc. In this case, X is considered an Independent Controller. Indeed, X collects Your Data as soon as You are redirected to the La Vuelta page.  X decides which data to collect, the purposes of the processing of Your data and You will need to contact X to exercise your rights.

Our Site has implemented a link to Our YouTube page to allow you to follow La Vuelta live and watch the videos of the highlights of the race as you wish. Google, parent company of YouTube is considered as Independent Controller. Indeed, Google collects Your Data via YouTube as soon as You are redirected to the La Vuelta page. YouTube and Google decide which data to collect, the purposes of processing Your data and You will need to contact Google to exercise your rights.

Twitch TV decides which data to collect, the purposes for which Your data is processed, and You will need to contact Twitch TV to exercise your rights.

B. Cookies Policy

IV. Storage of Cookies

 If You consent to the deposit of Cookies on your terminal, they will be kept for a maximum period of twenty-four (24) months from their deposit on Your terminal.
