The Ancares Mountain Pass will, once again, host a La Vuelta finish-line for the 3rd time, after doing so in 2012 and 2014 with victories by Joaquim Rodríguez and Alberto Contador, respectively. It will do so by debuting a new slope to climb the León side from Tejedo de Ancares. This ascent will test the best climbers with a distance of 7.7 kilometres and an average inclination of 9%, and maximum inclinations of up to 15%.

  • Puerto de Ancares has already hosted 2 La Vuelta finish-lines.
