Having already seen the La Vuelta peloton ride through its streets on several occasions, El Barco de Valdeorras will make its debut hosting a stage departure in the race’s 2025 edition. The Valdeorras Valley is renowned for its Godello and Mencía wines - some of the jewels of the area along the Sil River that forms part of the Valdeorras Protected Designation of Origin. This will provide a touch of wine to the last Galician stretch in this year’s edition.
