Tejay Van Garderen (BMC), 5th overall: “Today was ok. I'm happy to make it to the rest day. Hopefully I can recover from these aches I'm having from my crash (on stage 6). I feel like I'm not moving as well as I was before but I'm still doing ok so hopefully it just keeps going better. Next week we're gonna see longer climbs, less explosive. Hopefully that suits more my style and we can hopefully distance people and if I'm feeling really good move off the front.”
