La Vuelta will toast with Ambar

The independent beer Ambar and Unipublic, organiser of La Vuelta and of the women’s race Ceratizit Madrid Challenge by La Vuelta, have reached an agreement whereby the company from Aragon becomes the official beer of both races.

Ambar will be the star of the stage winner award ceremony. The winners of all 21 stages of La Vuelta and of the two stages of the Ceratizit Madrid Challenge by La Vuelta will toast with this beer from Aragon, born in 1900 from La Zaragozana.

This partnership between Ambar and Unipublic will extend to other areas of the race. The beer will be present at the departure area, the finish-line and in seven stages of the advertising caravan that precedes the peloton. “We have many elements in common with those who love and practice cycling”, admitted Enrique Torguet, Director of Communications, Sponsorship and Institutional Relations for Ambar, “but our greatest joy is knowing that drinking our beer is the desired reward after enjoying many hours of pedalling. We like to make beers that bring pleasure”. He also points out that “it makes us so happy to sponsor the women’s race because we feel like a unique beer”.

The General Manager of La Vuelta, Javier Guillén, celebrated this agreement that fits in perfectly with “the values” of the race. “La Vuelta is closeness, passion and celebration. We like to think about the celebration that goes on around sports in general and cycling in particular. We love knowing that there are fans that live the passing of the peloton as a truly unique experience. We want to be a part of that and to add our little grain of salt, along with Ambar, in order to make each stage a special day worth raising our glasses to”, he explained.
