Although the city of Burgos will not be present in La Vuelta 19, the province will be, with a departure from Aranda del Duero in Stage 17. The peloton will, however, rest in the province’s capital, which has hosted a La Vuelta stage on more than 30 occasions. This rest in Burgos will allow the peloton to relax and recover as it strolls through its wonderful old city centre, crowned by the impressive cathedral built almost 800 years ago, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984.
