Paredes, official face mask and protective footwear provider for La Vuelta 20

PAREDES and Unipublic have signed an agreement making the company that is a workplace safety expert the official provider of FFP2 masks for La Vuelta 20. The Paredes Seguridad project, encompassed within the Grupo Paredes, is an international reference in the field of protective workwear. Therefore, for this edition of the Spanish Grand Tour, the race staff will feature protective footwear for their day-to-day functions as well as FFP2 face masks to protect them from possible COVID-19 infection. These Paredes Seguridad masks fulfil all the European Union requirements to guarantee maximum protection, thanks to the use of high-quality materials, internationally certified by accredited laboratories.  

The PAREDES masks feature double protection and five layers, instead of the usual three or four used when manufacturing these types of protective masks. The PAREDES masks also contain filters and special layers that multiply their protection level.

The Jerez shoe, from Paredes Seguridad, will also protect La Vuelta staff from possible occupational risks, thanks to its protective toecap, its anti-puncture insole and its special non-slip sole that – along with its Free-Lock closing system make this shoe one of the safest and most comfortable in the market.
