The riders are about to enjoy the first of the two rest days of La Vuelta 21, but challenges are yet to be overcomed, most notably with a spectacular day in the mountains from Puerto Lumbreras to Alto de Velefique. This very demanding stage features almost 4.500m of elevation packed over more than 180km. Sunday’s stage 9 already promises excitement, furthermore as every rider will want to reach the rest day with the satisfaction that they’ve done well until then.
We, Velon and Biwenger, want you to be absolutely thrilled as you cheer for the riders and stay glued to your TV and Biwenger, so we’re launching the Velon Challenge on stage 9!
This Fantasy League with no limits on the number of participants will be based solely on stage 9, on Sunday August 22, and the final winner will win nothing less than… La Roja, the leader’s red jersey!
You have a budget of 120M to select a maximum of 8 riders, including, at least, one sprinter, a climber and an all-rounder. You will also be able to select a captain to score more points.
