  • La Vuelta (@lavuelta) will take all of the excitement surrounding one of the greatest cycling races in the world to TikTok, through such exclusive content as stage summaries, on-board camera content, viral clips, leader reactions, unedited moments and everything that happens behind the scenes of the competition.  

Cycling is trending on TikTok through hashtags like #LaVuelta23 and #DeportesEnTikTok, bringing together a community of over 1 billion users worldwide that wish to connect with Spanish teams and their riders in an authentic way. La Vuelta 23 takes place on the road and is experienced on TikTok. La Vuelta will offer exclusive content to all sports fans during the race’s grand departure on the 26th of August from Barcelona, and will continue to do so over the coming weeks through its account (@lavuelta), on the entertainment platform.

Throughout the 21 stages, La Vuelta will take all of the excitement surrounding one of the greatest cycling races in the world to TikTok through content created exclusively for the platform such as: stage summaries, on-board camera content, viral clips, leader reactions, unedited moments and behind the scenes footage. The TikTok community that loves cycling will be able to discover everything that happens in the race, both in front of the camera and behind it. They will be able to connect with the riders’ day-to-day lives in a different way, with exclusive access to special stage moments and, as such, will be able to experience La Vuelta in a way they have never done so before.

Through this content, La Vuelta hopes to connect with a community of over 1 billion people worldwide, including the 150 million European users, thus giving unique and creative visibility to a sport that is adored by thousands of people all over Spain and promoting the Spanish cycling ecosystem within TikTok.

Cycling fans will be able to connect with their favourite teams and riders in a unique and exclusive way on TikTok through the use of hashtags like #LaVuelta23 and #DeportesEnTikTok, that have already been viewed over 27,000 times on the platform. This initiative is supported by the innovation and dissemination of the platform’s content that began in 2022, an edition in which La Vuelta already had over 7.6 million views on TikTok. Now, La Vuelta’s profile on the entertainment platform, (@lavuelta), consists of almost 100,000 followers with over 1.1 million likes.

In this edition of La Vuelta, users will be able to discover the competition through the eyes of the platform’s content creators. @sergiogl88, @abcfitrain, @arijander, @pitufollow y @carlosaizpun_bike will be sharing their day-to-day lives in real time throughout the different stages of the race. This way, they will take the whole world on an exclusive journey to experience La Vuelta from the inside.
