BCD Sports and Unipublic, organiser of La Vuelta, signed an agreement making Ávoris Corporación Empresarial, an agency specialising in sports travel, the race’s new sponsor and official travel agency. This agreement was signed with executive president of Ávoris, Vicente Fenollar, present. The general director of Ávoris, Juan Carlos González and the general director of Unipublic, Javier Guillén signed the agreement.
The agreement signed with Unipublic makes BCD sports the official travel agency of La Vuelta for the next four years. Additionally, as part of this agreement, Halcón Viajes, a network of agencies that also belongs to Ávoris, will sponsor the race and have visibility in its communication and on the ground supports, presence in media, Parque Vuelta, caravan, departure, and hospitality areas. La Vuelta, thus, rebuilds its alliance with Halcón, who was the race’s official travel agency and sponsor for many years.
Its previous La Vuelta experience will be key when facing the race’s logistical challenges once more. During the three-week competition, BCD Sports will manage the accommodation and travel for the 3,000 people that accompany the event all over the Spanish territory and part of Portugal in 2024, with the Grand Departure held in Lisbon, Oeiras and Cascais.
In this way, BCD Sports adds one of Spain’s largest sporting events to its list of partners, which already includes such important sports entities as the F.C. Barcelona, the Atlético de Madrid, the Valencia C.F, the Royal Spanish Football Federation and the Royal Spanish Cycling Federation.
‘BCD Sport is a safe bet in terms of work, commitment and Services,’ says Javier Guillén. ‘It’s an exceptional travel partner with proven experience with regards to facing such an enormous logistical challenge as La Vuelta,’ added the race’s General Director.
Vicente Fenollar, executive president of Ávoris, has expressed the enthusiasm with which the BCD Sports and Ávoris team accept this new collaboration, commenting that ‘all the technical, human resources and experience of BCD Sports is at the service of La Vuelta, an event of great international reach, which requires not only capacity, but absolute precision in the delivery of our logistics services. Without a doubt, this is the best possible scenario to show the joint capabilities of BCD Sports and Ávoris' support for their work.’
Finally, Juan Carlos González, general director of Ávoris, expressed his ‘enormous satisfaction for having demonstrated that BCD Sports was the team and organization that La Vuelta needed for this great sporting event to develop in the coming years in the appropriate manner to a competition of its level and public projection.’
