RTVE and La Vuelta have revealed the official song for the Spanish tour’s upcoming edition. ‘Despierto Amándote’, by Miranda! will accompany the riders and the spectators, from the Grand Departure in Monaco on the 22nd of August to the final stage in Granada on the 13th of September.
‘Despierto Amándote’
Composed by the duo’s vocalist, Ale Sergi, along with Gerardo López, Von Linden and Diego Román Gutman Goldfinger, ‘Despierto Amándote’ is a song with 80s vibes and a touch of synth pop that celebrates enjoying life and love intensely and fully, without prejudice or shame - a message that the singers deliver with optimism, humour and plenty of irony.
Their entry made it to the finale of Benidorm Fest 2026, where it came fifth.
Miranda!
Created in 2001, Miranda! is an Argentinian band made up of Ale Sergi and Juliana Gattas. Considered Latin America’s leading pop duo, they are renowned for their flamboyant stage presence, their catchy songs and rhythms that range from ballads to rock, and have been recording one hit after another for 24 years. From the Buenos Aires underground scene to the greatest stages in Latin America and the world, climbing through the charts and winning the most important awards, Miranda! has managed to forge a truly unique artistic identity.
The group is causing furore on the Latin music scene, with 12 million monthly listeners on Spotify, over 391 million streams (plus a 46% increase in streams) and 577 million views on YouTube.
In May 2025, the duo released the album ‘Nuevo Hotel Miranda!’, as a follow-up to the hit ‘Hotel Miranda!’, which earned them the prestigious Gardel de Oro award. Featuring original tracks, it also includes collaborations with Kenia OS, Ana Mena, Abraham Mateo, Conociendo Rusia, Nicki Nicoe, Tini, Fito Paez, Vicentico, Leo Rizzi and Young Cister.
Their participation in Benidorm Fest and their selection as the voice of La Vuelta, reinforce their international presence and connection to Spain, where they already have two large concerts scheduled for this year, on the 11th of November at the Movistar Arena in Madrid and on the 12th of November at the Sant Jordi Club in Barcelona.
