Each year, the places visited by La Vuelta are within reach of people in over 190 countries that, thanks to the event’s different broadcasting channels, are one step closer to Spain. A unique promotion in the world of sports that, thanks to cycling, allows us to showcase the landscapes, monuments and diversity of the national and international territories covered by the Spanish tour. A window through which to display our national territory to the world and invite them to visit and discover each region’s cultural heritage closely, particularly when done on a bicycle.As it does every year, La Vuelta promotes some of the locations visited by the race through a series of tourism videos. In 2026, La Vuelta es Más en bici will be the thread that runs through a story connecting Monaco, as the Grand Departure of the race, the Costa Blanca and Granada as the Grand Finale.These videos are part of the La Vuelta es Más programme, that vindicates the value of the race as a promoter of a more connected, supportive and responsible world, besides showcasing to the world the places it visits, thanks to one of the programme’s pillars, Más por descubrir.
MONACO
The Principality of Monaco is one of the smallest countries in the world, while also being one of the most luxurious. The Grimaldi Palace and the Prince’s Guard (or Carabinieri), the Monte Carlo Casino, as well as its haute cuisine and strong motoring tradition, all make this tiny territory truly iconic.
COSTA BLANCA
The Costa Blanca will be the star of Stage 9 in this year’s edition of La Vuelta. Departing from Villajoyosa, with its strikingly colourful houses that face the Mediterranean, it will conclude at the Alto de Aitana, presided by the Aitana Air Base. Along the way, we will come across such towns as Callosa d’en Sarrià, the loquat capital of Spain, and Relleu with its famous walkway.
GRANADA
The finish-line of the 2026 grand finale will be in Granada - a place combining uniquely beautiful places with immeasurable patrimonial value. The province offers the Cathedral, the Alhambra and some flamenco, along with the legacy of Federico García Lorca’s poetry. Also notable are the UNESCO Global Geopark and the Parador Nacional (state-owned hotel) that offer a close connection to nature.
