2025 Edition
The history
Israel Start-Up Nation was the only team to make its debut in La Vuelta 20. Kjell Carlström’s men took Katusha’s place in cycling’s top tier and inherited part of the structure and riders from the Swiss team. In 2022, Canadian company Premier Tech shifted from co-sponsoring the Astaná Team to sponsoring the Israeli squad.
The team’s debut at La Vuelta was very positive, especially for one standout rider: Dan Martin. The Irishman secured a stage victory at an unprecedented uphill finish: La Laguna Negra to Vinuesa—and narrowly missed out on a spot on the general classification podium. After the retirements of Dan Martin and André Greipel, the team strengthened its roster with two experienced riders, Jakob Fuglsang and Giacomo Nizzolo. Having missed La Vuelta 2023 due to losing their WorldTour status, they returned in 2024 as one of the strongest ProTeams. In 2024, Michael Woods secured a stage victory.
