The "Más Bici" Seal recognises cities that are firmly committed to sustainable mobility and the promotion of cycling in their daily lives. In this first edition, La Vuelta es Más distinguishes five cities that stand out for their commitment to creating cycling infrastructure, road safety education and the integration of the bicycle as a healthy, accessible and environmentally friendly means of transport.
This is a seal, not a ranking. The criteria for its award allow for the evaluation of progress made across 5 key themes: governance, infrastructure, services and education, sport, tourism.
The application process is free and simple, to encourage institutions to submit their candidacy.
To celebrate La Vuelta's 90th anniversary in 2025, the candidacy has been opened to the 5 cities that hosted the race in its first edition in 1935, and which will also be present on this year's route, in both the men's and women's versions.
In 2026, we will open the candidacy to all cities that La Vuelta has passed through throughout its history.
