LA VUELTA PROMOTES CYCLING AS A LIFESTYLE.
The ‘Más Bici’ seal is a mark of recognition that distinguishes, through an evaluation process, cities that are firmly committed to sustainable mobility and the promotion of cycling in their daily lives, highlighting the actions that are being done well in this area and identifying opportunities for improvement.
In this first edition, La Vuelta es Más distinguishes five cities that stand out for their commitment to creating cycling infrastructure, road safety education and the integration of bicycles as a healthy, accessible and environmentally friendly means of transport. This is a seal, not a ranking.
The criteria for its award allow for the evaluation of progress made in five key areas: governance, infrastructure, services and education, sport, and tourism. The application process is free and simple, to encourage institutions to submit their candidacy.
To celebrate the 90th anniversary of La Vuelta in 2025, the application has been opened to the five cities that hosted the race in its first edition in 1935, and which will also be present on this year's route, both in the men's and women's versions.
We will soon be opening up the application process to all municipalities that La Vuelta or La Vuelta Femenina have passed through throughout history.
