La Vuelta's commitment to recycling is reflected in multiple initiatives that help reduce the event's environmental impact. Together with Ecopilas and Ambilamp, the race promotes the proper collection and management of batteries, lighting equipment and small electronic waste along the route, strengthening environmental responsibility among both the public and the organisation.
In addition, the La Vuelta 25 trophy was made entirely from recycled rubber, a clear example of the effort to integrate sustainable materials into the most iconic elements of the event.
Ecocup, for its part, promotes the use of reusable cups in guest areas and daily operations, significantly cutting single-use plastic consumption. All catering materials are recyclable, reinforcing a circular and more sustainable model.
