Alberto Contador (Trek-Segafredo): “It's good to show again that what happened in Andorra was a bad day. I'm in a good condition. Today I might not have been as agile as I'd like to, but I've been a bit more cautious. I'va enjoyed the support of the rider from Cannondale (Michael Woods). I knew Froome would change the pace. There was a moment I'd rather sit to bridge the gap later. Today shows I'm in a good condition, obviously, but we're still to tackle long climbs. The time loss is a pity but now I'm going to take things day by day. The climb was spectacular, I'm happy and I want to thank the crowds. I can't say I'm back, I think I've never left. If there's a stage I can take, I want to go for it.”
