Rain, cold, dangerous downhills… I lost a little bit my bike handle in the first downhill, La Cobertoria, and then I was quite scared. I didn't want to go down. I was a bit behind when we tackled the Cordal and it was impossible to get back to the group ahead. I went at my own pace and I had to do the whole descent from Cordal and the climb up the Angliru absolutely by myself.”
