Jose Joaquin Rojas (Movistar): “It's a pity but we can just congratulate (Matej) Mohoric. He proved himself to be very strong when he attacked before the climb. He was the strongest on the way up and I followed him. When he went solo, we couldn't catch him even though we collaborated. We hesitated for 10 seconds and that's how he went out of reach. It's a pity because I could see myself as the winner. The team deserves it after the bad streak we've had since (Alejandro) Valverde crashed at the Tour, but we'll keep fighting. I feel good. We'll try again, La Vuelta doesn't end here. We deserve it more than anyone.”
