Cría Cuervos and La Vuelta toast to the race’s stage winners

Cría Cuervos and Unipublic, the organiser of La Vuelta, have reached an agreement making this young company the official wine of the race. This partnership means that Cría Cuervos will be present at the La Vuelta podium every day. During the podium ceremony, each stage winner will toast with Cría Cuervos wine to celebrate his victory.

Born in 2020, this project has proved its commitment to sports, featuring such ambassadors and partners as Lucas Vázquez (Real Madrid), Pedro Obiang (US Sassuolo) and Vicente Iborra (Levante UD), among others, and collaborating in the creation of Sentimiento Azulón alongside Getafe F.C.

‘At Cría Cuervos, we’re thrilled to work with La Vuelta. It’s a sponsorship between two entities that share the same values. The hard work, perseverance and resilience required to climb high altitudes in cycling is very similar to creating a start-up company, consolidating it and making it a success,’ explained Javier Muñoz Lazaga, CEO of Cría Cuervos. ‘We both have that fighter DNA and are happy to share it with the public through our products that are, of course, of the highest quality,’ he added.

‘Cría Cuervos is a young brand that has burst into the world of wines like a breath of fresh air and will add a very special touch to the La Vuelta podium,’ said Javier Guillén, General Director of the race. ‘Wine is an important part of our culture and, as such, had to be present in an event like La Vuelta,’ he added.
