Eduardo Sepulveda: "De Gendt is my idol"

"The start of the stage was quite difficult. I wasn't able to get into the breakaway. I didn't have the best legs when it went away, but fortunately four team-mates were able to get into it. I was with Kaden Groves and he explained to me that [Thomas De Gendt] had attacked to take some points and then sprinted, so I'm very grateful to Thomas. He's my idol. He gives a lot of advice and he knows how to stay calm in tense moments, he has a lot of experience. Now I have to recover and tomorrow I have to try my luck. We want to be protagonists again and tomorrow is just another day. I'm going to do my best."
