Jay Vine (UAE Team Emirates-XRG): “It was such a big group and, no to either myself or Ivo [Oliveira], but if Mads Pedersen is in the group and we just ride all the way to the finish, the outcome is gonna be pretty written. After I gained the second loads of points, I decided to push on with Louis [Vervaeke]. I think if we had one more guy that came to us, maybe a Movistar or someone with multiple teammates in the group, maybe we could have cooperated, shared the load a bit more and stayed away. That was a long long hard day.”
