Jonas Vingegaard (Visma-Lease a Bike): “Of course I know Mads [Pedersen]. We’ve been speaking quite a bit in the bunch in La Vuelta and other races. He’s a nice guy and to be honest I’m happy that he took the win today. He deserves it and big congrats to him. We wanted to save the legs a bit today. In the end, Dylan [van Baarle] and Wilco [Kelderman] still had to work, I don’t think they had the easiest day unfortunately. Anyway, we got through the day like we wanted. The rest day will be nice. I think my legs need it.”
