Juan Ayuso (UAE Team Emirates): “Of course it’s a big victory. It’s my first victory in a team time trial. To do it together, everybody has their own merit, it’s super special. We did two recons of the course because on the first time we were not happy, and we committed to do it again. Everybody was super optimistic today, and I think it’s a win we deserve. We started working on this together in Italy and we fixed some little mistakes in the recons. When the work pays off and you manage to win, it’s something really special. As I said from day 1, La Vuelta starts tomorrow but it’s super nice to arrive with a win, and especially a team win. We take it with us, and tomorrow we see where we are.”
