Santiago Buitrago (Bahrain Victorious) continues to wear the polka-dot jersey after Stage 17:
"You have to get through 16 tough stages to reach some easier days—so to speak—but even then, there’s always a bit of stress, a bit of tension in the peloton. You know that by the final week, people are a bit more tired and there’s the tension caused by the wind, but we’re happy to have made it here to Seville safe and sound. Tomorrow, I think it’ll be the first time trial of my career where I will take it easy, enjoy the day, and save my legs for a very interesting weekend."
