Santiago Buitrago (Bahrain Victorious), leader of La Vuelta’s mountains classification after Stage 18:
"This is one of the first time trials I’ve approached easily. I took it very easy. I’m happy that we’re now entering the last part of the race. There are three tough stages left—two summit finishes—and it’s up to us, climbers, to deliver. [The plan is] to attack, attack, and fight right to the end. They are two tactical, very difficult, and very long stages. We’re all tired, but we’re really eager to do a good job."
