"It was a nice evening yesterday, and also this morning it was still a very nice feeling. I didn’t sleep very much, but that’s how it is and it’s still a nice feeling. The day was really easy but it was not so nice with all the crashes. I’m glad I made it through. I got the chance to wear the polka dot jersey today instead of Tadej [Pogacar]. For me, it was a nice experience. I was expecting to have I also tomorrow. But now I’m the leader of the classification. It’s just really sad that Tadej had to leave the race after his crash."
