Enric Mas (Movistar Team): “The goal was to race for victory but I couldn’t. I told the team I’m sorry about it. But I finished with the best riders and I’m happy for that. I think all the riders that were up there will be our rivals for the rest of La Vuelta, and also the ones who didn’t lose much time. It was a bit dangerous with the wind gusts but we knew the weather conditions would be like that. We’re going to have cold days, some warm days too, but I think a good percentage of La Vuelta will be rainy and cold.”
