We knew it was a good climb for Felix [Gall] and also for Primoz [Roglic] but I was confident with my two teammates in front, so we tried and in the end it was super good. I almost dropped [when Garcia Pierna pulled in the finale]. I was coming like this [puts his thumb under his chin to show he was on the limit] from behind and he’s a super strong rider. He was pulling full gas. He saw that Primoz was dropping, so we went full to the finish."
